Solvay supplies the South American markets with soda ash produced in its European plants.

SODASOLVAY® is primarily delivered from our plants in Italy, Spain, Portugal and Bulgaria, which all have easy access to ports. Our plants are able to deliver dense and light soda ash (bulk and packed) in containers as well as in big ocean vessels.

Our customers can rely on Solvay for taking care of the product from the departure of the ship until its final destination.     

Solvay has developed a high quality distribution process that ensures clean transfers and on time deliveries.

Solvay operates directly the facilities located in Santos and Sao Sebastiao (Brazil) and in Zarate (Argentina). Local distributors having long experience in soda ash logistics manage the other terminals.

Services currently available at all terminals:

• Unloading of bulk and bagged cargo;
• Warehousing;
• Bagging operations;
• Re-loading onto trucks;
• Transport up to customer’s premises.
