| The Solvay Minerals Logistics department is committed to moving our products in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner. To ensure this goal is met, department members at our plant site in Green River, Wyoming and our corporate office in Houston, Texas work closely with our Sales and Customer Service divisions to meet our customers’ expectations.
To move our products to market, we utilize a modern, private fleet of hopper and tank cars with equipment specifications capable of meeting our customers’ unique unloading requirements. To ensure the timely delivery of our rail shipments, we have invested in some of the most advanced fleet management software in the industry. For our customers requiring less than railcar volumes, we employ the use of twelve bulk rail-to-truck terminals throughout the United States. This terminal network provides a reliable source for our customers as well as a nearby supply position to deal with any urgent product requests. In addition to our bulk terminals, Solvay Minerals has partnerships with select warehouses and motor carriers throughout the U.S. to meet the unique demands of our package customers.
